Deliberately getting to know cultures - also one's own. Children get the chance to learn about culture and to collect first intercultural insights and experiences with Proki Kinderevents.

Today, intercultural skills belong to key qualifications that constitute a must-have, and not only for global players. In our opinion, it's never too early to start raising awareness about the significance of intercultural exchange and getting acquainted to other cultures.

Proki Kinderevents has addressed this topic and conceptualized a program that conveys the uniqueness of different cultures in a way that's suitable for children and exciting. Children playfully discover fascinating aspects about kids in their own age group from different cultures. In addition, the participants' own culture is in focus. What do other kids from different cultures think about us? Do all Germans wear ‘Lederhosen' and learn how to yodel in school?

By creating hand-crafted musical instruments, performing dances and songs, and testing foreign goodies, the children gain a sense for intercultural encounters and discover that diverging cultures and value systems do not call for negative associations but for interest and open-mindedness.
